Something not working? Please follow these instructions

Before you email us, please check these tips for using this website, especially when things don't seem to be working properly. Please check all of the following as this often provides a fix.

I can't see the Personal Profile when I'm registering

If you can see the website but the Personal Profile doesn't appear, you may not have Adobe Flash Player 10 installed on your computer. It's a free program and a standard installation on most computers these days. See below if using a Macbook Air, iPad or iPhone.

I'm using a Macbook Air, iPad or iPhone & can't see parts of the website, Profile or Report?

Unfortunately, because does not allow Adoble Flash to run on these devices, you will not be able to complete your Profile or download your Report on a Macbook Air, iPad or iPhone. Please access a PC or Macbook Pro that has Flash installed for these tasks. Alternatively, contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will assist you to complete your Profile. We can also email your Report to you so you don't need to download it. 

I'm trying to re-register for Metabolic Jumpstart?

It's great you want to do another Metabolic Jumpstart! When prompted in the Profile, click "I want to Jumpstart again" and then enter the Username and Password provided when you first registered. Doing this will add your previous details into your Profile. You then just need to make any changes or updates, like a change in your weight or your preference for protein or carbohydrate. 

Can't remember your Username or Password? You can retrieve them following the instructions below. If you have any problems retrieving your Username or Password, email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will send them to you. If you email we may need to reset your password and email you a new one to use to re-register.

I haven't received my Username and Password?

After you complete your Personal Proifle and register for Metabolic Jumpstart, we check your details and design your plan. Access codes (Username and password) are emailed to you by the Friday before your Monday Start Date. Check any confirmation emails you have received for the dates for which you will receive access.

Please also check your junk or spam email folder to see if your access codes have been placed their before you email us. To reduce the chance of MJ emails going to your junk folder, please add emails from @metabolicjumpstart.com to your 'Safe Senders' email list.

If after checking your junk folder, you have not received your access codes by 3pm Friday, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to alert us and we will send them to you. 

I can't Sign-In or I've forgotten my access details?

If after receiving your website account Username and Password, they don't appear to work, please click on Sign-In, then click on Forgot your password? and follow the instructions. If you have forgotten your Username, click on Forgot your username? and follow the instructions.

You must enter the email address your entered into your Personal Profile. This is your website Account email and must be unique to you. You can edit and change your Password to an easy-to-remember choice, when you are signed in by clicking on Account at the top of the website.

If after trying this, your access details still don't work please alert us. See email below.

I can't download my Report (when signed in)

If after signing in you can see the website but cannot download your Report, you may not have Adobe Flash Player 10 installed on your computer. It's a free program and a standard installation on most computers these days. If you have Flash installed, have checked the tips below, but are still having problems, please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Upgrade your Internet browser (especially if using Internet Explorer 6)

Using Internet Explorer 6? Upgrade your browser

We recommend you upgrade to a new Internet Browser as IE6 is quite old now and may cause some problems.

Some Browsers we recommend are:

Mozilla Firefox 3
Apple Safari 4

Still not working? Clean your browser history

If you continue to experience problems once you have Flash Player 10 installed, please clean your browser history. To do this in Internet Explorer 7, click on Tools > Delete Browser History and choose delete history. This can give you a fresh start and fix the problem.
